Everyday I Write The Book

The Best Laid Plans

So I went into work this morning and negotiated not to have to go to a seminar this afternoon because I am so behind; but at the eleventh hour I was summonsed anyway and finally got home at seven o'clock after a long afternoon of yet more diving deep into the intricacies of NHS change. Plus locking up and returning keys, shredding confidential papers and taking the milk back to the office and other sundry administrative tasks ...

Absolutely fatigued when I got home - TSM said I looked awful, think it was 'cos I forgot my pills last night and had to try and squeeze three doses in today so am out of synch. So exhausted tonight. But TSM made me a fantastic supper and generally gave me lots of TLC.

Anyway was just chilling when The Dizzle summonsed me to the local park as he was having fun with some mates and they really, really, really needed a football, thanks man, hashtag YOLO, know what I mean.

After that went to our local co-op which is famous for having the grumpiest member of staff anywhere, ever. I can't think of a nickname for her except, well, grumpy. She was on amazing form tonight, stomping around moaning about customers, "They treat me like shit, you know, why should I have to put up, they always want stuff, any more and I'm going to walk". I wish.

So not a day that went to plan ... but it had its moments ...
