Near full super moon and tree(s)
Today's agenda was not too full. We drove through the verdant country of the Ferguson Valley, did a bush walk where we we saw a jug orchid (extra) and did a wine tasting at the St Aidan winery. Their speciality was white wines so the best I could get was a bottle of merlot which I'll give to the Resident Gardener for Fathers Day (in addition to a local tea towel and a pair of oven mits).
Tomorrow will be the full moon. It is both a blue moon (one of two full moons in the one calendar month) and a super moon (being closer to the earth than usual). The thing that makes the super moon so special, according to an astronomer I listen to on the radio, is that it's 30 percent brighter. I wish you all clear skies for the viewing.
Thanks for hosting Bob.
