Hello to the mountains
Our favourite stopping point at the Port de Bonaigua. As an initial warm-up we drove 200 km along the autoroute. When we stopped for lunch S checked the coolant level and it hadn't dropped at all. So we felt perfectly confident to carry on across the Pyrenees to our destination, Bordes de Graus, to stay with G and A for a week. To S's disappointment, we didn't see the advertised bear at the top of the pass -- it was wandering about in the road a few days ago.
We got here at about six; S has just checked the level again, and it has dropped a bit after six hours' driving, but it's not (yet) critical. Cup of tea, unpacking, and we'll be off to the bar shortly before dinner of lamb tagine brought from home.
