Transition Day
An early start today as the yoga retreat at Domaine de Mournac ended with us all travelling back to Toulouse. We enjoyed the last delicious breakfast made by Mhairi . A wonderful chef who cooked mostly vegan and gluten free meals all week. She has a cook book out now as well , which I’m going to buy.

Once we returned the hire cars at Toulouse airport we took the shuttle bus into town. Ally who I’d shared a room with on the retreat left her bag at my hotel and we went off for a walk in The Japanese Gardens , stopping for a crepe with icecream .
Then we headed down to the canals and La Garonne the river on which Toulouse is located. We walked some of the city walls and learnt about its history.
Later on returning to my hotel I found there was no water in that part of the city till 6pm. So no shower , flushing toilet etc. It was not till 6.45 that any hot water was available and by that time I was too tired to get ready to meet Ally for dinner. I did manage to go to the local supermarket and buy some supplies - guacamole and chips , fruit and salad.
Funny to be back in a noisy city after the peace of the retreat.
