Au Revoir

The Selkie and I had valedictory pizzas and marzipan tarts in Söderberg last night, and G&Ts when we got home to mark the end of her stay with me. Now that her daughter has been discharged from hospital, she has left the Dower House  to take on her grandmotherly duties. It’s been lovely having her to stay and we will meet again while she remains in Edinburgh, baby Eva permitting.

It has been a hot day and lots of sunshine allowing me to wash and dry the bed sheets and get them back on the bed. Daughter#1 joined me at coffee time  and we had to sit in the shade to avoid burning. It feels a little like an Indian summer
