Oystercatchers #57

After dropping off the car at Mum's for my brother to borrow, we headed over to the Wirral on the promise of some lovely weather. It most certainly delivered - wall to wall sunshine and hardly a breath of wind.

We started at Leasowe and walked up towards Meols and then back to the car park so we could get to Hoylake for high tide. It wasn't a particularly special one, but it's always nice to see the Oystercatchers and Gulls near to the promenade and sometimes something unusual turns up. Not today though - just the regulars. Oh, and a sea-horse getting way to close to the birds in my opinion (see extras).

I wasn't really that pleased with any of my shots. I just couldn't get into it today and it showed. But this one is OK with the oystercatchers being disturbed by some numpty playing with a drone.

It's been lovely getting out seeing some birds again - something we've not been doing much of this year.
