No time today for a more considered blip.

We've been to a funeral this morning, and have the first camera club meeting of the new season this evening. The first with me in charge of the programme. Wish me luck!

We had to stop at Sainsbury's for some food for this evening and tomorrow, I spotted the plates and decided they would be my blip.

Back to the funeral. It was at the crematorium where mrsfb's parents' ashes are scattered. We got there a bit early so we could have a quiet contemplation sitting on a bench, on the Oak Lawn where the scattering took place. As we sat there an acorn dropped down from above and hit me on the foot. Mrsfb has brought it back with us. It was a pretty poor specimen, otherwise it might have been the blip.

On the way from the funeral to the lunch afterwards we made a detour past the FIL's old house. We were pleased to see it had been significantly improved, with new windows and door, and block paving for parking.
