No sea to see
We spent an hour or so at St Euny churchyard this morning looking for my 2xgreat grandparents grave, without success. We also had the volunteer grass cutters looking, and one of them said the picture I had from Find-a-grave looked familiar. He’s now hopefully on the case.
A very short time was spent at Kresen Kernow, the new Cornish research centre, where I dropped off a booklet of Redruth belonging to my mother and dating to about 1935. They are checking whether they already have a copy.
Then on to lunch at Tricky Dickies with old friends who now live in Portscatho, which lasted a good couple of hours.
Back to base, where we dropped off a bit of shopping, changed and walked over to Tehidy woods for a stroll. A bit of watching golfers on the course over the fence, and then down to the cafe, which was closed, before turning back.
The parrot has a broken wing, which can’t be mended, so is taken out for walks. The extra is one of the paths through the woods.
