Munch

Woke up early and went for a bike ride. It was nice being out before the cars and the heat.
Mindy worked late tonight and I had an neighborhood meeting so I made tikka masala straight from the bottle. Meh. It’s so much better fresh.
The hickory nuts are ripe and the squirrels are making a mess of them everywhere. A couple years back we bought a special tool and gathered a bunch of nuts ourselves. They were tasty but the grooves in the nuts are so deep and integrated with the shell that it was hardly worth the effort. The squirrels can have them.
