Bit Of Thursday Gang - Lot Of Family

Mrs S came off her night shift grabbed a shower and we headed off to a new breakfast venue.
Foxes Cafe is Falmouth University Students Cafe renamed. I’d noticed whilst walking Paddy on the Fox Gardens walk. It’s the closest in Falmouth to a ‘military’ style breakfast. You purchase breakfast by the item, salty thick rashers of bacon, oven cooked sausages and fried eggs, black coffee no toast but very enjoyable. Two hot, filling breakfasts, two hot drinks, total £13.
Thursday Gang next although ‘Gang’ is a bit misleading as there is now just me and there’s not much one 70 something can do on his own. The ‘vibe’ around the club is pretty good at the moment but it’s likely to take a dip over the weekend 1sts away to Tiverton who finished fifth in the league last year, I don’t expect it to go well but I’ll keep my own counsel.

After a quiet afternoon I spent three hours waiting at the Minor Injuries Unit whilst Sam was inside being treated. Following last weeks rugby training after Sam had showered she had a large rash of ‘bites’ on both legs. Over the next day they turned to blisters which she naturally scratched and they then gave the appearance of being infected. A visit to the pharmacist became a call to 111 which led to the Minor Injuries visit. Great treatment, well looked after, bites not infected and she has some cream and pills - All Good apart from missing rowing.

Late dinner and another book finished putting well ahead of my target of 52 for the year.

Tomorrow the Rugby World Cup kicks off, I’m not sure how England will do, quarter finals I suspect.

Todays photo, a pice of art photographed during this mornings breakfast.
