Raindrops

Much as I adore sunny and summer weather, there are times when a little break from it can be a delight.

Searingly hot for a few days, although it’s been so so humid this morning, a little gentler raindrops arrived.

I’ve neglected this lovely rose bush but I have to admit that the colour and shape are really rather lovely.

Meanwhile, back to my book……”Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow “ by Gabrielle Zevin. Even the librarian enthused when I collected it. Very different - a fascinating step into a different world. And I own up to having to Google a number of words new to me…”bloviate” was a bit of a mystery….
