Rendezvous

Met up in Martigny with our friend who lives in Chamonix. Nice to have a new navigator - it’s not always the easiest of times between MrKT and I!
We left Switzerland and drove over the St Bernard’s Pass to Italy. We’ve not been over the Pass before - it’s quite a drive up the steep windy road. It was another hot day and the top of the pass was busy with tourists - like ourselves! We stopped to take in the views and for a picnic lunch.
Onwards then to drop Giles off in Courmayer for the start of a run event he is in tomorrow . It’s 330k through the mountains - finishing next weekend back in Courmayer - we hope. Crazy. MrKT are his support team and will be meeting him somewhere each day with supplies and encouragement.
And then finally we drove up to a campsite to stay for the next couple of nights.Phew.
