Between those two points there was .......
1) an earlier trip to The Larder to pick up the meals and get on the road to make sure that we could get home and ready to go the the funeral. Arrived and there were no meals set out for me. Enquiries had the head chef in stitches. It turns out the boss got it wrong and thought I wasn't able to do it (it was a 2nd run to cover somebody else I couldn't do) and she had headed off with somebody to do both rounds. A day off for me then!
2) a trip to the doctor's surgery to see about getting an appointment to have bloods taken and tested ( we suspect the iron levels are causing problems again). Can't do that .... have to see a doctor first. 10 days, first appointment. Not good enough - I will be causing waves on Thursday.
3) a start on ripping up the old, rotten, wooden decking while SWMBO went back to bed again for a couple of hours.
4) pick up Bags and head off to the funeral. 43 is far too young to lose a mother, wife, daughter............ It also turned out that her grandfather who she doted on (and him her) died yesterday. It was not an easy day.
5) finish ripping up the decking. Just the cutting up and making an appointment to go to the dump now (Yes - we now have to make an appointment to go and get rid of rubbish).
