Still waiting

I mentioned a week ago that the washing machine refused to start. A repair was quickly booked for today. The time slot was from 07:15-10:15.

I’d prepared the machine for access last night,

I was up, showered and dressed for 07:14 and waited. At 08:46 I got a text saying that ”an engineer is no longer available for your visit”.

Not too surprised as this has happened before. But a bit frustrating. I will now take up the kind offer from friends (whose house I am keeping an eye on while they are away) to use their machine. New appointment booked for Saturday but the clothes are piling up and just in case ………
