Family Wedding

This morning Becky and Rob took Euan to a park at the other side of Gloucester and Tony and I took a walk around the Harbour to meet them there. Unlike Rockport which is very much a tourist town, Gloucester is still very much involved in fishing with large processing plant and all things related to the business of fishing.

Once beyond the harbour, we took the path away from the main road which bordered the sea on one side and huge flowerbeds filled with dahlias of all colours and types. They made for spectacular displays.

We hung out with Euan for a while in the playground until it was time to grab lunch and for the three of us to head north to the Flag Hill Winery in Lee for Laura's wedding to Fabricio. Tony stayed with Euan at the bungalow as there were no children at the wedding.

It was a lovely, relaxed event with close friends and family. The ceremony was held outdoors with the vineyard as the backdrop, then we moved in to the marquee for dinner and speeches and dancing.

My blip is of our American family: Brother Roger, nieces Laura and Amy and sister in law Anne.
