Towards Dumyat

They all left early this morning and I took advantage of the early start and bought enough provisions for the week in Dunblane, including croissants for breakfast since I’m on holiday, sort of.

Islay didn’t seem overly keen to get going and wasn’t interested in her breakfast. Nevertheless we set out with a picnic lunch, including a few sausages, and walked up to Ben Gullipen with fabulous views on all sides. It was a good choice for a Saturday and we met just 2 dogs and 2 sets of walkers.

Back home around 3 Islay had a very late breakfast and fell asleep. Having missed the parkrun and with only a couple of weeks until the Great Scottish Run I went out again and just about managed a slow 5k around Deanston.
