Aloe…

… We have had Aloe plants in the house for decades. (I have always used the ‘juice’ of them for burns, to great efficacy. Though, I read recently that aloe is now considered carcinogenic, so don’t take my word for anything).

We have never known them to flower. But this one recently grew a very (very!) long shoot and some buds, which were shortly followed by some beautiful flowers.
