.....when along came Maggie May.......

What a day!

We saw the ISS pass overhead....twice in the space of an hour and a half last night....11.33 and 01.08.

A lie in until 9.30.

Another beautiful sunny day.

The family came to visit again....and we played in the garden...again.

Dad was released from hospital....he's home with just a few bumps and bruises after his fall.

The Boss and I went to the Manchester Arena tonight....to see Rod Stewart!

It was fantastic!...the support was good ....Moya........Rod did over an hour and 40 minutes.......4 songs off the new album....a Van Morrison number.....a Four Seasons number.....and a Sam and Dave (Soul Man...made me think of Geoff)......plus all the classics.....You Wear it Well........ Stay With Me....Maggie May...Sailing.....Twisting The Night Away.....Sweet Little Rock and Roller.....the entire back catalogue....except Hot Legs.

The only down side was the prat two seats away from me....if you're going to wave your arms about........and shout out things....and sing....and generally make out you're the biggest Rod fan ever.............you could at least get the words of the songs right.......and in the right places in the songs! Dipstick!

Commenting will have to wait until I'm back from work tomorrow....I need to sleep...if I can get the ringing out of my ears and the lyrics out of my head.
