Shadows and mosaics

National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London

A day of three parts really. A morning walk in the sunshine seeing the sights. Most of the day looking around the National Gallery. Then out to Operation Mincemeat. 

We had heard the rain on the roof while in the National Gallery and it was still damp when we left. That was nothing on the torrential downpour coming out of the Fortune Theatre later - rivers running down the Strand.
