Harvest

It's a jobs day today - the engineer came to do theboiler service and the cats are due in at the vets shortly.  I've been determined to get some garden jobs done before the cold weather hits so the veg is now harvested (bar the leeks and brussel sprouts) and I've done a huge chunk of weeding.  P joined me for a while weeding the cracks between the patio and refilling them with sand.  Such a joyous job.

The unusual veg and fruit seeds didn't yield much of a crop - though we'll see how the purple brussel sprouts go.  The purple carrots were perhaps the funniest harvest with this being the bet of the bunch.  You might be able to see the apples on the tree in the background - that will be a job for a couple of weeks!

Now to get the cats in the boxes...
