Blue Morning

A beautiful sunny morning, clouded over in the afternoon, showers this evening.  Windy with stronger gales blowing this evening. 

Another early shift in the airport.  I've mostly been meeting and boarding flights, with some training in the afternoon.  All flights in early and on time, apart from the first Aberdeen with had a bird strike.  Met friend Julie for walkies after work.  Working in the shop this evening, and busier than expected.  Feet up now. 

We've had a couple of beautiful mornings this past few days.  As the days get shorter, sunrise is later.  It's about twelve hours of daylight just now, sunrise at 7am and sunset about 7pm.  A striking blue sky as I walked into work just before 630am, aided by the new mysterious blue streetlights.  Taken outside Sumburgh Airport.
