Departure

A visit to the Bar Tremezzina for breakfast. When we mentioned we were leaving today we were given a couple of extra pastries with our coffee which was nice. We followed up with a wander round the market and lunch at the Bar Golfo.

In the afternoon we transferred over to Malpensa. Take off roughly coincided with sunset. The colours in the sky were very vivid. As we crossed the Alps there was a bright red streak across the sky. We could just about make out Lake Geneva and the city before the last light faded away.

Quite confusing at Schipol as Passport Control had been moved. We were not the only people heading to the normal area, to find it was closed. The flight to Aberdeen was uneventful. The cabin lighting was slightly dimmed which made the late hour feel even later. Got back to the apartment at about 11:30pm.
