Some Sanctuari

Youngest was still buggy this morning and wanted a lie in so we set off again this morning for Santuari de la Mare de Déu del Puig.


Hilariously, the walking directions on Google Maps predicts that it takes 21 minutes to walk up there from the centre of Pollensa Town...I mean, who's clock watching? But no no, nothing like. Even the signpost near the top (extra 1) which marks where the twisty tarmac lane gives way to stone footpath offers a time of 15 minutes & that is optimistic!


I struggled to get any pics that did the views justice or managed to capture how steep the walk was although did manage a pic looking down to Pollensa Town which gives some perspective and again shows the steps up to Calvari (extra 2)


Upon dropping back down to earth, smoothies (extra 3) recharged the batteries before spending the afternoon at the villa.


This evening littlest Dahling asked if I could take her for a stroll for half an hour. She fancied some fresh air and that has got to be a good sign she is on the mend. Thank you so much to those who asked after her :-)
