Flamingo Frenzy

B and I visited Pensthorpe for a walk this morning. The weather was perfect, beautifully sunny and a very comfortable temperature.

I took lots of photos of birds and ducks, a frog, squirrels, fungi, trees etc.  However, in the end a visit to the flamingo pond provided some inspiration. I'd got some filters with me and had a go at some Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) shots...a method that I particularly enjoy, although not a favourite with everyone.  The image reminds of a fast and furious ballet.

I've added a comma butterfly perched on an Echinacea flower in the extras.
