Kitchenalia?

We took all the hedge cuttings and other stuff to the tip Household Waste Recycling Centre today. Another car there was depositing several items in the metal recycling container, including what seemed to be a new cast-iron casserole and lid. I nearly shouted out to let me have it but in it went, joining an obviously older one and pressure cooker, among bun tins and various racks and ladders, not all from that same source, of course.

It still aggrieves me that items in good condition are thrown away rather than offered to charity shops or local residents.

I don't need another casserole but would have happily rescued one from a recycling bin containing genuine waste.
