Pottery collection

Yesterday, I went to design school to collect my pottery around 10:30 am. This was an early collection because the flatmate viewings were scheduled from 12 p.m. onwards. Tom and I had planned to collect our pottery together. I reached first, beating Tom and was welcomed by Hannah the technician. I noticed that one of my coasters turned out to be atrocious, thanks to my terrible thinking about glazing. But, I was surprised that this piece turned out to be my favourite. I had put least effort into it and splashed around all of the glazes that were present at the studio.

I also noted that the director of the pottery studio said that 'Guru Nanak would be happy' over my pottery piece with the word smile on it. I found it amusing that he connected my religion to my pottery. I didn't bother to argue.

I had an argument with Tom when we returned from the studio as he said that I should put on some deodorant before the visitors come in. He makes these comments that make me uncomfortable.

There were three viewings. D came at 12, and J came at 1, and B did a virtual viewing from Ghana. D is Iris, likes board games, and pub quiz and is into pure maths (which I don't like), J is from London, is an Architect and has just moved in Edinburgh. B has lived in Edinburgh on and off and does some volunteering. Needless to say, I liked D the most so I got him in touch with the landlord towards the evening.

I cooked coq-au-vin for tea. I have realised how horrendous I am at meal planning so I have started a schedule from this week onwards.
