Just visiting for the day

Daisy is a beautiful dog but at 14 years she is deaf, her eyes are not too good and she sleeps a lot. Despite our best efforts she pinned for Mike, her owner and was very pleased when he came to pick her up late this afternoon.
As well as dog sitting the jobs listed yesterday, washing and ironing and grass cutting were carried out. An additional task was to trim the ends of the roadside hedge. Stephen comes once a year with his tractor and attachment and makes a wonderful job of cutting the hedge but because his machine is so large he can not cut right up to the telegraph pole or our two house name signs. I had to trim these bits, up a ladder with long handled cutters. I did not enjoy this and it probably took twice as long as Stephen did doing the whole hedge. But now sorted and it looks good.
