October 1

October 1 and this is the busiest day of the cruise ship season. A total of 5 ships in port but I could only get 4 of them in this photo. Over 6000 people visiting Halifax. There was a tour bus coming to the restaurant where we had brunch today, so we had to be out of there before 1 pm. I'm not sure if the bus was cruise ship passengers or not.
After brunch I stopped at the Dartmouth waterfront to get a few photos, then drove out towards Eastern Passage to a spot where you get a good view of the cruise ships. I also went for a walk at Shubie Park this afternoon.
The truck is loaded ready for tomorrow. Sunshine in the forecast for the week again, with high temperatures ranging from 18  - 22 C. We're having better weather now than we did during June, July and August.
