On The Road (Again)

We always pay for the “All You Can Eat Breakfast” and then sit and pick at bits and pieces whilst drinking coffee and this morning was no different.

We were on the road for 10:00am with a slight detour to Camberley first, I was looking for an old local authority children’s home, Pinehurst, but that’s a story for another day.

One stop at Honiton for a coffee and we arrived home a little after 3:15 to make it five hours door-to-door.

Always a great welcome from Paddy and pleased to see Mrs S even if only for an hour or two before she headed off for a night shift.

The little Polo did me proud again, nineteen years old, almost 160,000 miles, up and back with just the slightest of hiccups which was down to my lack of pre journey preps.

Today’s photo, one of the party decorations found its way out onto a Reading Road crossing point. It’s now on the route both of them use to and from work.
