A cold night at Cramond!
Tried something new tonight. I put a circular polariser and a red filter on the D90 tonight, stuck it into monochrome mode and done a few long exposures. The red filter really cuts the light down so at f22 I could get a 25s exposure. It was freezing and windy so didn't have many goes at this. RAW was processes to B&W in Lightroom 2 and the sepia effect added as a filter in Photoshop CS4. Very happy with the result. The long exposure has smoothed out the sea and you can see the coulds streaking. Never tried this before and it wont be the last attempt!
