Down by the riverside …..

….. ….. ….. this afternoon. (Anyone remember that song?)
Missy & I finally had a relaxing walk by the Arrow River this afternoon. It was green and peaceful. So lovely.

Sorry I’ve not kept up with commenting lately. I’ve been feeling quite exhausted and overwhelmed by all the pressure & anxiety.

The good news though! The head surgeon visited Hazel this afternoon, and is very pleased with her progress, especially today’s progress. She’ll be discharged tomorrow, to go to a special home in Christchurch, Ronald McDonald House, for just these occasions. Hazel & her Dad will stay there for a few days until she’s ready to fly back to Queenstown.

Phew. What a relief!
