A beautiful surprise

These flowers arrived as a wonderful surprise from a friend last week. They are still looking beautiful today, nearly a week later.

Thankfully my son's cricket match has been cancelled this afternoon - as it has turned cool I was not looking forward to sitting outside, shivering and dodging rain showers for a couple of hours. Though I expect he won't be pleased with the cancellation.

So more time on my hands to catch up with chores and that never ending list of things to do...
