The Birch Wood

Some blue sky today, but still quite mild. Colder weather will move in overnight after more rain. Warm on the lunchtime walk. There is a stiff breeze, but not any significant wind chill. Blip shows the birch wood from the east side. Not officially called the Birch Wood as it has ash,oak and some rather splendid sycamore trees.

Busy at work, so good to go out after work with my partner. There was a line of blue skies to the north and grey clouds to the south. So the Pentland Hills are looking rather drab, so no improvement on vistas.
