Back

We arrived in Doha in the early hours and had a 4 hour stop over before catching the next flight to Heathrow. The first leg was 5.5 hours and the second was 7.5. So a long trip back. But with the clocks adjusting each time, we watched sunrise from the plane, landed and using the underground, we were back home just after 10am.

We both had some work to get done today and I needed to get washing done as well. I did try and nap but it wasn’t going to happen - too much caffeine trying to stay awake earlier!!

So very weary but loved swimming with Lucy and EmCoops back at the lake. We were dreaming about our food afterwards though as we swam round and round as it was our ladies meal out this evening too. 7 of us from church just enjoying being out together.

What a strange day to look back on.
