Marigolds in the wind
The plants at the back door to the Glenogle swimming baths. They were being blown about in the gusty west wind, so not as sharp as they might be.
Watched a kestrel being mobbed by a crow from our windows in the early afternoon; they circled around the buildings, and went up to about 30m before going South out of sight.
Out down Carlton Road to the Physic garden at Holyrood, then through the park to visit the swans at St Margaret's Loch; at least a dozen of most likely last year's young, and one cygnet from this year, adult sized, hanging around the edges of the group and being periodically chased off.
Back by a no 4 bus from London Road.
