All change
Down to the least favourite place to visit my most favourite Aunt.
She's now moved into an apartment in a retirement property - but whilst there's a centre manager she's completely independent. Blips not really the place for the circumstances of why she no longer lives with my sister, but we're very pleased and it's good to see her in positive spirits after a torrid time.
After we'd seen the apartment we headed out for a walk on the beach then lunch. Glorious quickly turned to yuck on the short drive to the coast, so we headed to lunch first. While we were eating the sun came out, then it hailed, then the sun came out again.
So I left the girls having coffee and took Missy for a ball throw - one of her most favourite things. With a strong wind at my back and a rubber ball on hard sand it was easy to get some energy out of Missy and make her zip around all happy (when she's had enough she just doesn't "drop" anymore). So then we headed back to the restaurant.... And the heavens opened and the hail returned, I guess, tbf, you can see it coming in those distant squalls behind the lovely light.
Home and the fire is lit. As we pulled on to the drive the car said 3°C
