pups

Here is the lovely Callie, Danielle's dog, with her seven wee pups born only four days ago. We went to visit today and spent hours just sitting beside the whelping box, gazing at them. Callie is such a good mum! Here are four of them feeding vigorously while the others are resting nearby with full bellies :-) Sarah and Chris are going to have one of the girl dogs, not sure which one yet, though..very exciting!

Danielle, Sarah and Jess had a run around Ae Forest, while I went on the Riverside Walk. So beautiful to wander among the tall stately trees (see extra).

We picked up Joe on our way home and after a quick shop, went home to make tea.

Today - the first frost of the winter, the first fire of the winter, and the first apple crumble.
