Steaming......

A white frost this morning and very chilly. Loaded up the grain dryer by 7 am,set the burner going and left it to get on with things while I went and fed all the cattle. When I came back in ,the flame had gone out ,but the barley wasn't dry. Tried numerous times to get it to light again,but eventually gave up and phoned the electrician.
Kev on lifting straw bales in one field and me in another .
JP ,the sparky arrived in at 5 pm and managed to cobble things together to get my dryer going again to finish this load.
So now sitting cooking my tea at 7.30 waiting to empty the barley out into a trailer once it has cooled down again.
