Big Truck, Little Truck: the Autumn Edition
This is one of my favorite Tow Hill scenes. A neighbor owns the Dodge truck and the mailbox. Neither one ever moves. As a photographer, I just like the way they look together: a visual joke, with the tiny mailbox echoing and almost mocking the larger truck.
By the way, my friend Stan covets this truck, and he would love to receive it for Christmas. Let's put a good word in with Santa Claus, shall we? Will the truck even FIT on Santa's sleigh? Let's wish as hard as we can, and see if the truck turns up in his Christmas stocking!
My soundtrack song is Jerry Reed, with East Bound and Down, from the film Smokey and the Bandit. This recording is from 1978, same as the truck!
