Wonderful!

Pat, on the right, hasn’t been at our lunches for over a year. We’ve kept in touch and had the occasional meet but today I was so thrilled to see her back again. What a fantastic surprise. She gave me a huge hug! Wilma and Pat made a great pink blip!

My extra is from yesterday. The anniversary afternoon went well although we were really low in numbers due to hospital appointments and those recovering from operations. I brought home some of the sandwiches I’d made and even some trifle. No takers for goodie bags. The cake was delicious and the portions generous.
