Ugly Bug Ball

Wee trip to the shopping centre this morning. No 3 has a party tomorrow afternoon - so time for present shopping (plus it's Father's Day this weekend). Relaxed shopping trip - wasn't looking for anything in particular.

An elderly couple were walking beside me - just outside Thorntons (chocolate shop)...The lady said something to her husband - who must have been a bit 'Corned Beef' (translation for the non-Scots blippers : 'Deef' or 'Deaf' !)

Man: (hand cupped to his ear)..." ...WHAT ! ...WHAT'S NICE AND CLEAN?"
WIfe : "no dear...I said "That's a nice ICE CREAM !" '

(made me chuckle )

I was invited to No 3's school for juice and cake and to view thier project on 'Minibeasts' including their 'Percy the Park Keepers' houses they made.
