White Lady Wood

Well we had some rain in the morning from Storm Babet, but not that heavy. The wind was absent as well. When I went out at lunchtime, it had stopped raining, so a dry walk. The light wasn't too bad. I have noticed less red in the leaves this year, it is mostly yellows. There is a hint of autumn orange in White Lady Wood though.

The rain returned for the afternoon, but again, not heavy. Partner and I stepped out for the afternoon walk a wee bit later than usual. However, the light wasn't as good as at lunchtime, and the tops of the hills were missing too. However, Edinburgh has none of the weather drama that seems to be occurring elsewhere along the east coast.
