Beach huts

Brightly coloured beach huts on the prom at Saltburn. Apparently a little controversial as they have halved the width of the prom and when occupied the people that use them take up even more of the space with their deckchairs and tables. Nevertheless they look colourful and on balance I'd say they were a good thing, even with the issues of encroaching on space. Probably just needs a bit more management. We had thought we might visit Shandy Hall today but it turned out it is closed for renovations until next year. We did check online before we set off so we didn't have a wasted journey and instead spent a quiet day in Saltburn..
