Calm after the Storm

S went down to Glasgow to pick up the gang in their return from Orlando at Glasgow airport. I went to Nero and had a morning coffee and almond and read my book. Picked up some bread at the bread shop and went to The Wool shop , a quite new one , on Scott Street. She has some great colours and very helpful.

Once the gang were home I went down to hear about their adventures.

Laura certainly had an incident laden flight over ! About four hours into the flight while she started to feel woozy and instead of pressing the buzzer and saying she wasn’t feeling well she went to go to the toilet and then collapsed . On top of three women who were asleep! One of them screamed in fright , Laura was out on the floor by the attendents who came rushing up. Once she came round they took her down to the galley where they gave her two cups of sugary tea, fruit juice , a sandwich and paracetamol. The captain had to leave the cockpit to come and sign off on the drugs and he spoke with her a while. She was two hours down there! One of the attendants was quite happy with that as he said that he loved a medical emergency as it means he doesn’t have to be serving drinks :D. Dave came down too so Ben took advantage of the three seats and stretched out for a sleep!


Then on the way back from Gatwick just before the take off Ben threw up filling the paper bag! YUK

Apart from this they had a great holiday and very good weather. No hurricanes and pleasant temperatures.

It was great to see them back.
