The weather forecasts were wrong. My two apps showed a rainy day but after doing a few jobs around the house I looked out and it seemed dry. The clouds were high and didn’t look like ones that would bring rain.

I took a chance and walked to Waterhead where I found some of the lake cruise staff on boat cleaning duties. The jetty was getting mopped too! It was still dry when I got home and there was only a bit of drizzle much later.

Not many people by the lake but perhaps a lot were out on the big cruise boats.
