Plenty of passengers around, Hallowe’en themed this week of course, with a Fright Night train on Friday evening. Might go and see that as next door the Old Dairy Tap has a range of green hop beers on over the weekend.

The loco is No 25, Northiam recently reentered arrive after an overhaul. It’s one of our own locos which is nice to see as we’ve been running the steam service with two hired in locos: Sapper and Swiftsure.

The extra is of Northiam making a steamy start as light engine for Tenterden.
