A spot in the sun.
It's still blowy out there today but I managed to find a sheltered spot out of the wind and in the sun.
From my seat I can see the bluetits popping in and out of the nestbox with mouths full of grubs. I think they are used to me pottering around now.If they stay in there much longer I think they will be too big to get out of the box.
I can also smell the stocks which managed to survive the cold May.I thought I had lost them as we had quite a few frosts after I had planted them.
It's my cousins 40th birthday today. She was one of my bridesmaids along with her little sister and although we live over 600 miles apart we are able to keep in contact almost daily through Facebook. So Happy birthday Sarah hope you have lots of fun on your special day.
Afternoon visit from a yellow hammer, wind now picking up again.
