Harvest

More rain today, and wind.
I could have quite happily spent the day lying on my bed, but MrKT was itching to move. So we took the road north from Haarlem up the coast - aim was a working windmill with a cafe and van parkup. Found it ok - fabulous location, perfect for catching the wind, and rain - and closed.
No problem, a quick stop at the beach (ie most of the west coast) to try a walk. Too windy for me! Found a farm shop with the most incredible haul of pumpkins and couldn’t resist a purchase.
And then over to the opposite coast to Hoorn.by the afternoon the weather had calmed down a bit and we found a lovely stop spot at the harbour in Hoorn. Really nice historic town, always love a wander round a harbour.
Last day, last night - homeward bound tomorrow.
