Super slide

With our repaired van it was time to head onwards to Sarajevo. Parked up at a small campsite on the hillside above the city.
We weren’t ready for a city walk to headed on up the hill to explore.
Made our way to the top of the cable car which runs up from the city centre - closed today though! And then down to the abandoned bobsleigh/luge run which was built for the 1984 Winter Olympics. It was in use up until the war here in 1992 - then had a new use as an artillery position for a while. The run and buildings show the evidences of attacks.
The run proved too expensive to restore to use and is now brought to life with fabulous street art. we walked the mile length - I’m sure it will also be used by mountain bikers too!
