Such brilliance…

… If humdrum.

I’ve been working today. Preempted any trick or treat issues by dropping off little baskets of treats to anyone likely to call. Most kids around us are too old to care now. (Well done me for being so organised).

I arrived back from work to Himself saying he’d suggested to the neighbours that they call in with the kids this evening as he was sure I’d have something for the kids… (!!!).

So, I went out again. (The first shop had bare shelves where Halloween used to be). The second shop had nice stuff (and it was reduced!) but the precinct had closed its main doors after I went in, and it was a long walk to get out round the back!
Arrived home to a text saying the kids were too tired to come! :-)

Some days the Cosmic Joker just likes to have fun!
